CALTA21 in Uruguay
Patricia Lannes was invited by Anilla Cultural and the Uruguayan public education system to conduct a workshop for museum professionals and educators on ways of using art to develop critical thinking habits. With the help of innovative modern technology, this interactive workshop was projected in 50 video conference rooms all over Uruguay. Utilizing drones, educators and students from remote areas of the country were able to participate in the workshop and access the museums collection. We hope to continue using this innovative combination of drones and video conferencing as a means of making museums inclusive and accessible even to the most remote communities that might otherwise not have access.
