We were pleasantly surprised at the diversity of the audience that attended, who came to  learn more about how to use visual literacy with language learners. During the workshop we realized that participants were not only interested in finding new ways of teaching language, but also in making museums and cultural organizations accessible to the immigrant communities in Syracuse. We are hoping that collaborations will be developed among the different organizations that participated and that CALTA21 becomes a reality in Syracuse!
